Rosalia
Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is a Spanish flamenco and pop vocalist. From her teens, she's been involved with the edges of both traditional and popular music. She also is a pioneer in the realms of hip-hop, soul and trap. Pepe Habichuela has described her vocals as being crisp and sweet but with a little bite. El Mal Querer, her sequel album to Los Angeles in 2017, was both a critical as well as a commercial hit. It was a top hit on the Billboard Latin Pop Albums Chart and won an Grammy. La Fama was released by the Weeknd in 2021. Motomami was her third full-length album. It featured songs written in collaboration with other musicians and producers, such as Cory Henry. This set was released March 2022 after the Saturday Night Live performance featuring the track Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia was the first Spanish singer to perform solo on the show. Rosala from Motomami who was awarded an award for the Latin Album of the Year as well as three Latin Grammy Awards in total for Motomami was also the first woman to do so.
