MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. He's made major inroads globally towards Latin pop. His 2016 hit Una Lady Como Tu was the winner of a Colombian Kids Choice Award for Most Popular Song in 2017. in Medellin, Sony distributed La Industria Inc. and released ADN as his debut full-length album. In the Top Latin Albums chart ranked ADN at the 8th spot. In the following year, he teamed up with Ozuna to record Vaina Loca which climbed to the top of five on the Top Latin Albums chart. In 2020, he collaborated with Noriel on Mala Influencia and then released her debut album Dopamina that year. In 2021, he sang a duet for TINI's hit song Maldita Foto. The hit song La Bachata from 2000 was published in 2023. Turizo is a product of a musical household both his parents have been musicians. In interviews, Turizo said that music is essential. As a child studying saxophone and guitar. Though his original career plan was to be veterinarian His brother Julian advised him to begin studying singing with an instructor in Cuban. The lessons transformed his life forever.
